Volunteers are the heart of the Lebanon Soup Kitchen! We need help with cooking, serving, washing dishes, cleaning tables and floors, doing laundry, and picking up donations. To find out how to get involved, contact the church office at 541-258-5911 or email lebanonfcc@comcast.net.
The Lebanon Soup Kitchen was founded in 1989 by Marcy Huntsinger, who partnered with Lebanon First Christian Church to feed the hungry and provide fellowship. Over the decades, it has grown into a community-wide effort, supported by multiple local congregations including Our Savior's Lutheran, St. Martin's Episcopal, United Methodist, Southside Church of Christ, Presbyterian, Valleyview, and First Baptist.
Miracles Among Us: a book by Nancey West shares the remarkable stories of lives changed through the Soup Kitchen. Available at nanceyswest.com, or request an autographed copy by sending $20 (check made out to Lebanon Soup Kitchen) to 170 E. Grant St., Lebanon, OR 97355.
