Part-Time | ~5–10 hours/week | Paid Position
We are seeking a warm, dependable Children’s Ministry Director to help grow and nurture a vibrant ministry for children and families.
We believe children are an essential part of the church today — this role creates a Sunday morning environment
where they are welcomed, known, and guided in faith through stories, prayer, and relationships.
What You’ll Do
What You’ll Do
Lead Sunday morning children’s programming & short Children’s Moment during worship
Organize and prepare classrooms; welcome families
Teach or oversee children’s classes (~3–4 Sundays/month)
Coordinate and support volunteers and teen assistants; ensure coverage for absences
Coordinate children’s music participation — Christmas program, Sunday School songs, rehearsal support. Musical ability is a wonderful asset but not required; coordination and enthusiasm are what matter most.

Experience with children in church, education, or childcare (preferred)
Warm, steady, relational leadership style with strong organization and communication skills
Ability to work well with volunteers and families

Interview(s) and a short teaching demonstration. A background check and three references are required prior to an offer.
Time Commitment
Time Commitment
~5–10 hours/week, including Sunday mornings, weekly preparation, and occasional meetings or events. Worship attendance expected at least quarterly on non-teaching Sundays.
